I know Silvan from the Conservatory of Amsterdam. I attended his final exams and later his performance in the Recital Hall of the Concertgebouw, where he introduced me to Bach's beautiful prelude, from BWV 998. After that, I attended his concert twice in the Seamen's Church here on Texel, where I live. He knows how to touch and stir his audience with his guitar playing. At the end of his last performance, July 2023, I concluded, with a number of other people, that he had become better again, more skilled. Moreover, he is a very amiable man.

Every collaboration with Silvan has been a remarkably positive experience. He stands out for his talent and dedication to every project, his passion for teaching, and for being a very kind and friendly person. I highly recommend him.
