To play an artificial harmonic, place your left hand finger on the string at the specified fret and use your right hand to pluck or strum the string at the same time, about an inch above the fret.

It’s important to note that when playing harmonics, less pressure should be used in left hand and only the very tip of the finger should be used to touch the string.
